Value based education should be the motto of students community
The present generation students should not be demotivated through banal distractions. They should focus on value based education in order to achieve their goal in  life said Sri L. N. Gupta, IAS, Addl. Chief Secretary, Govt. of Odisha joining as the Chief Guest in the 29th Foundation Day Celebrations of DAV Chandrasekharpur today. Delivering the foundation day lecture former press adviser to the President of India and presently Joint Director, Rajya Sabha Sri Satya Narayan Sahu said education can eliminate all shorts of discrimination and bring all round development citing many examples from history. Indian system of education is appreciated world wide opined Sri Sahu. Sri M. M. Panda, Chairman of the school presided over the meeting and Principal Dr. K. C. Satapathy deliver the welcome address and presented the brief report. In afternoon session addressing the students motivational guru Prof. Dindayal Swain emphasized on self believe and confidence as the foundation of all round success. In the morning a special Hawan programme was organised under the priest ship of Er. Priyabrat Das. Commemorating the occasion a blood donation programme was organizing where 75 bottles of blood was collected. The News Tabloid of the school EPOCH was released on the occasion and the renovated school library was also inaugurated. Among others Madam Gupta, S. C. Mishra, B. K. Mohapatra, S. C. Mantri, B. M. Satapathy where on the dais as guests. Students of the school performed spectacular Odissi and Folk dance to enthrall the audience. Coordinator of the School Indira Bhattacharya proposed the vote of thanks.
