Bhubaneswar 20.10.2017 :- Three students of DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar have been selected to receive the most prestigious Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam National IGNITE Award 2017 conducted by the National Innovation Foundation, Government of India. The proud students are Srutiparna Ratha of Class-IX, Golakh Mohapatra and Siba Prasad Satpathy of Class X for their unique & innovative ideas. Srutiparna's ideas based onSaving Water through Usage Monitor and Golakh & Siba Prasad's idea (jointly) titled Nail Polish which indicates drugs/alcohol in drinks to prevent molestation were highly appreciated by the panel of jury. Total 65,000 students applied for the award all over the nation out of which 29 ideas of 45 students got selected for the award. Total 6 students from Odisha have been selected for the same. Last year also, Priyanka Panda of DAV Chandrasekharpur was selected for this covetous award. The Chairman, Principal-cum-Regional Director congratulated the meritorious students for this phenomenal achievements.
