A series of activities were conducted at DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur to commemorate National Book Week.  Eminent Writer and Director, Vigilance Dr. Debasis Panigrahi, IPS joined as the Chief Guest in the "Meet the Author" Programme and emphasized on  inevitability of book reading for Creative Pursuits and all round growth of the students. Principal Dr. K. C. Satapathy in his welcome address cited examples on the importance of book reading. Book exhibition, poster making competition, cover page design, book mark competition were also conducted among the students to enlighten them and to increase their reading habits. Chief Librarian Mr. Pradeep Kumar Panda coordinated all the activities.
