Commitment & dedication for ones cause lead to permanent success and that success is the real expression of students community, opined Sanjay Kumar Singh, Commission-cum-Secretary, Skill Development & Technical Education, Odisha and CMD, IDCO while inaugurating the 2-day long Parents' Day Celebrations 'Abhibyakti' of DAV Chandrasekharpur today. Sri Singh also highlighted the remarkable contribution of Swami Dayanand for national reconstruction and elevation of students power. School Chairman Sri M. M. Panda presided over the function and Principal Dr. K. C. Satapathy highlighted the achievement of the students while presenting annual report of the school. The annual new letter 'BEACON' was inaugurated during the occasion. The meritorious students, teachers and different endowment prizes were handed over by the Chief Guest. The cultural extravaganza based on the theme Ek Bharat Srestha Bharat and cultural assimilation of Maharastra & Odisha Sangam  were highlights of the cultural programmes. More than 1000 students also showcased their talents in Odissi, Aakal Bhodan, Lavani, Indra Dhanu Ra Rang Chori, Maratha ka Veerputra Shivaji Raj Bhonsley, Sur Lahari & Rocking Jack which was witnessed among others Basanta Manjari Satapathy, Maj. Gen. B. K. Mohapatra, other Principals of DAV Institutions and more than 3000 parents. Coordinator Ms. Indira Bhattacharya proposed vote of thanks. Abhibyakti would be concluded tomorrow.
