CSIR innovation awards for school children for the year 2018 were awarded at Vigyan Bhawan , New Delhi.Being the only recipient from Odisha ,Master Gyanig Kumar of DAV public school, CSP , Bhubaneswar received third prize award by Dr. V K Saraswat, member NITI AAYOG & Chancellor Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU), in presence of Dr. Harsh Vardhan , Minister of Science and technology, Prof Ashutosh Sharma DG CSIR and other eminent dignitaries &  scientists .
The third prize of 30000 INR was awarded for the innovative project on Bike Safety titled “V-Bikes”.
