Road Safety Awareness Programme at DAV Chandrasekharpur
Self protection is the key to Road Safety measures
The involvement and awareness of all especially the young people can fructify the real objectives of Road Safety opined Sagarika Nath , DCP Traffic of twin cities joining as the Chief Guest at the Road Safety Awareness Programme at DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur today morning. Sagarika Nath elaborately discussed about the causes of road mishaps and its eradication mechanism. Self-protection can go a long way to achieve the target, Nath justified with personal experience. She also answered the queries made by the students on various aspects of the implementation of amended motor vehicle rules. The programme was arranged in association with the Master Girija Memorial Road Safety Foundation Trust. Among others, office bearers of the Trust Amiyabala Parida, Sagar Sundar Dash and Academic Supervisor of DAV Cspur Niharika Gantayat were present as guests. Dr S D Singh, Dr Debendra Kumar Pati, P K Panda, Isha Ipsita Satpathy, Laxmidhar Routray, Nilamani Muduli, Mita Das, and M Garnayak of the School contributed for the successful organisation of the programme. The Chief Guest was offered a rousing welcome by the students at the outset and also felicitated at last.
