30th District Scouts & Guides Camporee inaugurated at DAV Cspur

The 30th District Bharat Scouts and Guides Camporee inaugurated at DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar on Friday. Total 1648 participants from 207 schools of Bhubaneswar BMC, Balianta, Balipatna and Bhubaneswar Block joined the 5 day long Camporee which was inaugurated by Dr Kali Prasad Mishra, State Scouts and Guides Chief Commissioner and national vice-president. Khurda Collector and District Magistrate K. Sudarshan Chakraborty joined as the Chief Guest and appreciated the praiseworthy efforts of the organisation. Khurda District Education officer and District commissioner Biswanath Tarai presided over the function and district scout commissioner Rabinarayan Jena presented welcome address. District Secretary and Head Master of Capital High school Jitendra Nayak presented the annual report. The Regional Director of DAV Institutions, Odisha Dr K C Satapathy joined as the guest of honour and appealed the participants to focus on their goals and dedicate themselves for the cause of the society. A series of programmes like March Past, Folk dance and music , quiz, handicraft, village fair, food fiesta, first aid would be showcased during the Camporee. Meritorious scout masters, guide captains and others will be felicitated on the occasion. Each day cultural programmes and camp fire are also slated.
