4 students of DAV Cspur in first ever school team to represent India
In the prestigious NASA human exploration rover challenge 2021 scheduled in April, 4 students of DAV Public School Chandrasekharpur including the team leader will represent the first-ever school team from the nation. Rishikesh Amit Nayak of class 12 (Team Leader ), Nitesh Patnaik of class 11, Ankan Mondal of class 10 and Tanvi Mallick of class 9 have been selected for the international event in the 10 member team. Navonmesh Prasar Student Astronomy Team ( NaPSAT ) is composed of student innovators across the disciplines and constituted by the National Navonmesh Prasar Foundation nationwide. The DAV Public School Chandrasekharpur students presented their theme on Rover Making & how to tackle the real-life challenges encountered in Moon which was highly appreciated by the acclaimed scientists. NASA is encouraging the young innovators in space research, rovers, rocket and satellite research with ample exposure through the event. The Principal of the School Dr K C Satapathy honoured the proud students and their guide teacher Jyoti Ranjan Mohanty today and wished luck for the mega challenge.
