In the recently published prestigious Vidyarthi  Vigyan Manthan  (VVM) and Sarabhai Promotion Orientation Test ( SPOT ) students of DAV Public School Chandrasekharpur have excelled in both including the  national champion in  SPOT. Nabendu Kumar Mohakud,  a class 9 student secured the topmost position in senior category in SPOT conducted by Vikram Sarabhai Science Foundation which promotes study of space research. In the best 100 merit list Anshuprit Dutta of class 8 and Sai Krishnskanti Mahakud of class 4 were also enlisted. Similarly,  in VVM conducted by Vigyan Bharati and Vigyan Prasar with the guidance of NCERT under the aegis of Ministry of Science and Technology 4 students of the School have been selected to national level after securing 1st / 2nd position at the State level. They are Anshuprit Dutta,  Nabendu Kumar Mahakud, Priyanshu Samantray ( state 1st rank holders in different classes ) and Aryan Das ( 2nd in the state ). The Test was conducted online in 2 levels - District & State. The School Principal Dr K C Satapathy honoured the proud students and their mentors today on the School premises.
