DAV Cspur alumnae Kasturi & Suvangi's UPSC glory
In the recently published UPSC results, the alumnae of DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar, Odisha Kasturi Panda and Sushree Suvangi Khuntia have brought laurels with their impeccable success stories. Kasturi, a 2015 batch class 12 pass out with 96.4% marks from DAV Cspur has bagged the 67th rank in UPSC in her second attempt. She had also cleared OPSC earlier with 14th rank. Perseverance always yields rich dividends, she believes. She intends to bring a remarkable change in education and women empowerment sectors. Similarly, Suvangi, a 2014 batch class 12 alumna with 96.4% marks has grabbed the 248th UPSC rank in her 4th attempt. Earlier, she had qualified OAS with 97 rank. Suvangi got inspired from the success stories of the UPSC qualifiers narrated by her father in her childhood days. With sheer determination and dedication, she overcame the obstacles and reached the zenith of success. In future she wishes to serve the downtrodden at the grassroots and bring a change in their lives. Both of them have given credit to their parents, family, teachers and the alma mater for the phenomenal journey. The DAV Cspur school authorities have congratulated them and decided to honour both at a special function later.
