DAV National Sports Zonal Meet concluded
DAV Chandrasekharpur emerged as overall Champion
In the recently concluded DAV National Sports Zonal Meet at DAV MCL , Jagannath Area , Talcher DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar adjudged as overall Champion with 77 points followed by DAV Vedanta International School, Lanjigarh as runner up with 61 points. In Boys category Skating, Shooting, Table Tennis , Football the DAV Cspur team were declared as winners and became runner up in Swimming. Similarly, in Girls category , the team was runner up in Shooting, Swimming and Chess events. The students of the school also performed exceedingly well in Shot Put, Discus and 4 × 400 mt relay. The Regional Director of DAV Institutions, Odisha Dr K C Satapathy joined as the chief guest at the concluding ceremony and honoued the winners. Among others, Basanta Manjari Satapathy, the Regional Officer Loknath Pradhan, Assistant Regional Officers, Principals of DAV Institutions joined as the guests. The school authorities congratulated the winners and the mentors for the remarkable success.
