Bhubaneswar - 05 November Literature has been the beacon for civilisation. Now it has been considered as the parallel history of the present society, opined eminent litterateurs joined at the third edition of the Literature Conclave held at DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar on Tuesday. Eminent author Dr Gourahari Das highlighted the immense influence of literature by citing various examples. The hearts of millions kept intact in the pages of the books and it must be explored, Dr Das stressed. Authors Dr Abhishek Sharma and Pallab Das also spoke on the occasion in the morning session. Principal of the school Dr Sujata Sahu emphasized on the inculcation of reading habits especially among the students during her welcome address. In the afternoon session, the Regional Director of DAV Institutions Dr K C Satapathy delivered the maiden "DAV Chandrasekharpur Talks" and spoke at length the importance of values and imparting value education being the current need of the hour. Guru Sangramjit Das enlightened the various facets of life skills and ladders of goal-getting. The book authored by Priyansh Pratik, Class 10 released on the occasion. Manushri Pati, Class 3 presented a story through action. Reesha Mishra and Subhankar Das compered the programme. All language department teachers actively coordinated the activities. Principal Dr Sahu felicitated the guests with uttariya, sapling and memento. Academic Supervisor Bharati Pradhan offered vote of thanks.
