Friendly Cricket Match at DAV Cspur

Like in previous years,  a friendly Cricket Match was organised between Principal XI and Chairman XI comprising both parents and teachers at DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur on Saturday. Chairman XI won the match by 8 wickets. Principal XI scored 98 runs in the allotted 15 overs choosing to bat first after winning the toss. The winning team reached the target in 13.5 overs losing only 2 wickets . Chinmay Mishra and Pradipta Swain were declared best batsman and best bowler respectively while Vivekananda Das was adjudged as Man of the Match for his  allround performance.  School Principal I /C Indira Bhattacharya inaugurated the Match. The DAV Regional Director Dr K C Satapathy and Chairman of DAV Cspur Sarat Chandra Mishra encouraged the players joining as the guests. The winning team and best players  will be honoured during the Annual Sports Meet scheduled on 10th of January, informed the School officials.
