In accordance with the latest guidelines of CBSE, State Government as well as DAVCMC regarding the Safety & Security measures for the school children, a Mock Drill of Evacuation and Rescue Operation was conducted at DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur today under the aegis of Odisha Fire Services. The fire personnel under the active guidance and supervision of Deputy Fire Officer, Bhubaneswar Ramesh Chandra Majhi, Asst. Fire Officer Rohit Kumar and Chandrasekharpur Station Officer Ajay Kumar Barad exhibited different techniques of Rescue and Fire extinction activities with the help of sophisticated Brontos Vehicle and other fire fighting gadgets. The Officers also answered various questions raised by the students regarding Safety & Security measures. Senior teachers of DAV Chandrasekharpur Dr. Sarbadaman Singh, Pradeep Kumar Panda, Dr. Debendra Kumar Pati coordinated these educative and enlightening activities. The school Principal Dr. K. C. Satapathy sincerely thanked the DG of Fire Services Bijay Kumar Sharma, IPS, IG Rajesh Kumar, IPS and other Officers for their wholehearted support and he informed that this type of Mock Drill would be conducted at regular intervals in the school for the benefit of the students with the help of Odisha Fire Services.
