Bhubaneswar - The future of our country largely depends on the real potentials and capabilities of present day youth. They should run after knowledge rather to be degree oriented, opined Prof. R. V. Raja Kumar, Director, IIT, Bhubaneswar joining as the Chief Guest in the felicitation ceremony of Regional Directorate, DAV Institutions, Odisha Zone-I organised at DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar premises today morning. Citing many examples of epic Mahabharat Prof. Raja Kumar advised the students community to prepare themselves for all categories of examinations in their career. The Regional Director, Dr. K. C. Satapathy highlighted the achievements of the zone and emphasized upon acquiring quality quotient in all aspects. The Chief Guest Felicitated the toppers of different categories and streams - Stiti Pragyan Sahoo (Class X CBSE), A. B. Satyaprakash & Somnath Jena (Class XII Science), Archie Behuria (Class XII Commerce), B. N. Shreevishesa (Class XII Humanities), Siddharth Sankar Panda (+3 Commerce), Sahil Samal (CHSE Science), Suchismita Mohanty, (CHSE Arts), 95% and above holders of all schools, teachers with excellent results, best schools of the zone with Pride of DAV certificates and mementos. Among others, Subrat Kumar Tripathy, Maj. Gen. B. K. Mahapatra, M. M. Panda, Sarat Ch. Mishra, Alois Toppno, Principals & teachers of different DAV Institutions, students, parents were present on the occasion. At the outset, the meritorious students were taken to the function arena in a procession with ceremonial robes.
