Apart from the parents & well wishers, the society at a large plays a crucial role in shaping up the career of a student. After success in life, the student should be committed to repay back richly for the greater interest of the society, opined Shri Anup Kumar Sahu, DCP Bhubaneswar joined as the Chief Guest in the concluding ceremony "Barnabibha", the Parents' Day Celebrations of DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur on Sunday. Along with the opportunities, the challenges are multiplied for the students, Shri Sahu further added. Chairman of the school Shri Madan Mohan Panda presented welcome address and the Principal Dr. K. C. Satapathy highlighted the achievements of the school round the year. Among others, Shri Sarat Chandra Misra, Prativa Mishra, Principals of DAV & Other institutions were present as guests. Chief Guest Sri Sahu honoured the meritorious students, staff, parents from different competitions and endowment prize winners. Afterwards a plethora of cultural programmes - Chorus, Glani Sanhar, Nandan Ban, Bana Jyotsna, Chandini, Alli Baba Chalis Chor, Gachha Amari Bandhu, Aisa Desh Hamara were presented. More than 1500 students participated in the cultural extravaganza both the days. Coordinator Indira Bhattacharya presented vote of thanks.
