DAV Chandrasekharpur created history with National Acclaim
In the recently concluded CBSE National Science Exhibition at Mayoor School, Noida the project of DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur entitled "e-Swachhbin" adjudged as the best one in the national level as lone in the state in Senior category. The project highlighted the use of modern gadgets in encouraging waste management and go a long way in the nation wide campaign of cleanliness, opined the senior scientists who acted as jury members. The project was prepared by two students of the school Swapnadeep Mohapatra & Abhinav Patnaik at ATL Lab with the help of Asst. Duryodhan Pradhan. Total 465 projects participated in the event in both Junior & Senior categories under 6 themes. It is worth mentioning that apart from e-swachhbin, school project farm-o-bot in junior category under agriculture & organic farming took part in the National event after being adjudged as the State Bests. In the prize distribution ceremony ,CBSE Chairperson Anita Karwal, Secretary Anurag Tripathy, Sr. Officials Sweta Singh & J Emmanuel handed over citation, memento and a cash of Rs.5,000 to the winning team. Congratulatory messages are pouring in to the participants from the school authority and other segments after being acclaimed nationally as the lone team from the state.
