School teaches to make the students realise their inner potentials.  Along with that schools should take the lead to teach scientific temperament and spiritual responsibility combinedly,  opined justice Dipak Misra,  former chief justice of the apex court of the land while delivering the foundation day address at DAV Public School,  Chandrasekharpur on Sunday. Justice Misra cited many examples from the epic Mahabharat and advised the students to do good for themselves as well as for the society. He also praised the contributions of DAV movement in all spheres. Justice Misra released the result analysis tabloid Epoch and honoured the exceptional achievers and staff completed 25 years of continuous services in DAV institutions. Chairman of the school Madan Mohan Panda presided over the occasion and Principal Dr KC Satapathy presented the achievements of the school in his report. Among others,  Madam Suprama Misra,  DAV Kalinganagar Chairman Sarat Chandra Mishra,  Chief coordinator samaja suresh Ch Mantry were present on the dais as guests. Earlier a Vedic Hawan was conducted under the priestship of Er Priyabrata Das and Sanno Devi. A blood donation camp was also organised in association with Ama Odisha to mark the 31st foundation of the school where 172 volunteers donated blood. Coordinator Indira Bhattacharya presented vote of thanks.
