Dedication and perseverance produce extraordinary results

Students should give   equal importance to Sports activities along with their studies. With dedication and perseverance an ordinary can well become an extraordinary person in each field, ascertained by Dipsan Tirkey, an emerging  player and Vice Captain of Junior India world cup  Hockey team joining as the Chief Guest at the National Sports Day Celebrations at DAV Public School,  Chandrasekharpur on Thursday. Sri Tirkey offered floral tributes to Major Dhyanchand and termed him as the role model for the entire sports fraternity. Nationally acclaimed athletes of the school were honoured on the occasion. Among others,  Coordinator Indira Bhattacharya,  Supervisors Niharika Gantayat,  Pramod Kumar Patra,  HOD Sports Education DP Das Mohapatra,  teachers Anand Ch Das,  Madhumita Chhualsingh were present on the dais. Sri Tirkey was felicitated by the school. Earlier,  Students witnessed the direct telecast of Prime Minister's Fit India Movement programme. Isha Ipsita Satpathy anchored the activities.
