CBSE East and Far East Shooting Championship

DAV Public School,  Chandrasekharpur qualified to play at the national level after bagging the Champions trophy at the recently concluded CBSE East and Far East Shooting event at Ranchi. Priyaranjan Mishra stood 1st in Air Pistol in under 17  boys where as Amit Hota and Pratip Das declared 2nd and 3rd in the same event respectively. Shravani Das stood 3rd in Air Rifle in Girls under 14 category. Manyata Singh, Shivangi Meher and Karika Tanvi qualified to the national stage by virtue of their performances. Similarly,  the Girls under 14 Air Rifle team comprising Shravani, Manyata, Shivangi and the Boys under 17 Air Pistol team of Priyaranjan,  Amit and Pratip have entered to the national level. Sports teacher Anand Chandra Das escorted the 8 member team to the competition. The School authorities congratulated the students and teacher for the remarkable achievement and wished for the next move.
