Students should focus on their goals and mustn't be distracted by any trivial attraction, opined eminent litterateur Harihar Panda joined as the chief guest at the inaugural day of parents day celebrations Navankur of DAV Public school, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar on Friday. Sri Panda cited many examples from his own student days and inspired the students to have determined efforts for desired results. Among others, School Chairman Sarat Chandra Mishra, Pratibha Mishra, DAV Regional Director Dr K C Satapathy, Basant Manjari Satapathy, DAV Kalinganagar Chairman Madan Mohan Panda spoke on the occasion. The Principal I/ C Indira Bhattacharya presented the annual report and welcomed the guests. The Chief Guest released Beacon, annual achievements tabloid of the School. The exceptional achievers were also honoured by the guests. Group song and dance, folk dance, goddess Durga rendition, Mana Uddharana, Zazz tune , dance drama were presented. Teachers Laxmidhar Rautaray and Chitrangada Mohapatra compered the programme and senior teacher Niharika Gantayat offered vote of thanks.
